Bouquet of Happiness

 With all the holiday hub bub going on, I
just had to get out to my studio to paint something free and a bit wild! I was so excited when I finished this latest piece. For me, it embodies what painting from your heart and soul is all about. This piece has a sense of freedom that I would like to have in every one of my paintings. But, oh well, that's not always possible. When it happens though, it sure is a fantastic feeling. Happy holidays one and all.

Summer Blend

Summer flowers and picnics go hand in hand.
Painting this brought such joy, and an overwhelming sense of good-fortune and gratitude, for the amazing bounty which surrounds my life. Once again, given how much I love white flowers, I made this one the center piece of my painting. I like how the combination of items, and colors, create a summery feeling. It's just what I was hoping for! Harmony all around....

Daisies Outside My Door

Each day when I walk over to my studio some beautiful new flower speaks to me! Yesterday it was the dancer like daisies that jumped right out. So, I knew what I had to paint. Here they are. A lovely trio of snow white daisies smack in the middle of summer!

Aglow With Life

This painting gave me an opportunity to create fresh spring blossoms bursting forth with magical colors. Going out to mingle with the flowers in my garden, provides me with continual inspiration that flows through my paintbrush. Can't you just smell the delicious scent of this bouquet?


This painting is on 4.25" x 6.25" paper, mounted on 8" x 10" painted archival backboard.

 I delight in the beauty of all the jars of acrylic colors in my studio. Playing with them to create excitement and joy on my canvas is one of my favorite adventures in life. Picnic paintings bring great pleasure and evoke wonderful memories. I imagine they do for you too. Bright sunny light is always a great help!
