I was pleased to find, upon close inspection, that a second crop of Calla's are about to spring forth.Of course I was instantly inspired to paint one more Calla. I decided I wanted to try using totally different colors in the background than I used in the Calla. I normally would use some of each of the same color in the background and in the main subject so as to create a sense of cohesiveness. But, what the heck. It's always fun to try something new. I'm pretty tickled with the outcome. Hope you like it too...
